Erkki Heino joins Vuono Group

Erkki Heino joins Vuono Group as a Software Developer and Business Engineer.

Time for the next instalment of team introductions: meet Erkki! He enjoys writing clean and maintainable code – although he appreciates spaghetti on his plate, he avoids it in the codebase.

Erkki has a Master’s degree in Computer Science from University of Helsinki, where he specialised in Software Systems. He worked as a research assistant at Aalto University while writing his thesis on Linked Data and the WarSampo (Sotasampo) project.

With years of experience as a consultant and software developer, Erkki’s favourite thing about work is when pieces fall into place in client projects. His passion for learning, combined with the excitement of collaborating with skilled individuals, creates an environment where elegant solutions and clean code flourish.

In addition to his professional prowess, Erkki’s hobbies include playing Magic: The Gathering, savouring craft beers, engaging in a game of squash, and navigating rugged terrains on his mountain bike. When his distinct laugh echoes through the office, you know it’s going to be a great day at work.
