Lasse Wittke joins Vuono Group
Lasse is a full-stack developer joining us from Volkswagen where he worked as an engineer and was responsible for analysing electrical circuits and web development. Before starting his Bachelor’s studies in Mechatronics, Lasse worked at Audi where he became familiar with different technical aspects of automotive manufacturing such as metal processing and welding. While Lasse is proficient in numerous programming languages, he has specialised in robotics and autonomous systems during his university studies at Aalto.
“Firstly, I really wanted to get more hands-on experience with software development as it is one of my strengths. I have worked with the hardware side of things quite a lot in the past, but software and coding interests me more. Joining Vuono Group really gave me the opportunity to showcase my programming skills and develop them further,” Lasse says.
“Secondly, I wanted to join a smaller company that is still in the growth stage. Having worked at gigantic companies like Volkswagen and Audi, I wanted to join a company with less hierarchy, more freedom and the ability to build something new,” Lasse adds.
“Lasse is a very talented individual who has the ability to understand complex processes. In addition to his technical skills, Lasse brings valuable perspective to the Vuono team having worked at large multinational companies like Volkswagen and Audi. Combined with his work experience, Lasse’s highly technical educational background in computer science as well as robotics and autonomous systems allows him to work on even the most challenging projects,” says Teemu Moisala, founder at Vuono Group.
Unsurprisingly, Lasse is a real automotive enthusiast. Motorcycling is one of Lasse’s favourite activities and he loves to read about all the latest developments regarding automotive technology. Lasse embodies a true passion for learning and he loves to understand how things work, be it the engine of an F1 car or how a digital process is built. Lasse’s fascination with understanding complex processes and systems make him a great problem solver. As a very unique experience, Lasse got the opportunity to join a team to build a Formula Student race car, car during his Bachelor’s studies - not many of us can say that!
