Alvaro Arenas joins Vuono Group
Before Capgemini, Alvaro has worked in various technical roles from system administration to full-stack software development at HiQ and OpusCapita. Alvaro is originally from Chile but he has lived the last 16 years in Finland.
“I wanted to join Vuono Group because of its open and transparent culture and the values that the company represents. I also knew the founding team and its track record from other Futurice companies.
By joining Vuono Group in an early phase I got a unique opportunity to be a part of building the company and its culture. I find the people centric low / no hierarchy -based organization with decision making power very empowering. The recruitment process also strengthened my views about Vuono Group: I felt that the team was genuinely interested in me as a person instead of fulfilling a developer role.
"Joining a company is like walking into a good bar — you want to join it when you see it’s full of happy people” Alvaro summarises his decision to join Vuono Group.
Alvaro has unique and valuable experience on all levels of enterprise architecture, from system administration to software development, APIs and integrations. His customer-centric and consultative mindset is also something that customers really appreciate.
“We are super happy to welcome Alvaro to Vuono Group. He is a warm and social person who gets along with everyone — a true gem to have when building a successful company” says Teemu Moisala, Founder at Vuono Group.
Alvaro is a passionate amateur photographer who holds a black belt in Finnish. He is also a wanna-be sea trout fisherman living in the Lauttasaari archipelago — happy even if he hasn't caught any sea trout yet.
