Olli Kiikkilä joins Vuono Group
Olli Kiikkilä joins Vuono Group as a Software Developer from Taito United.
Olli is a full stack developer with a strong business mindset. He has hands-on experience with software development, graphic design, data analysis and project management from multiple different roles.
“There were quite a few things that made me want to join Vuono Group. Firstly, the key objective at Vuono is to improve digital efficiency for our clients, and this allows me to work in a highly technical role while always keeping in mind the business side of things, which I find very appealing. Another thing that I enjoy is the ability to utilise my broad skill set in other areas like graphic design and web development to really shape the work that is done both internally and externally at Vuono,” Olli says.
During his time at Taito United, Olli was responsible for designing and implementing business-driven software in various different client projects. Before working at Taito United, Olli has worked in numerous different software development and business analyst roles most notably at DealDash, Futurice and Spinverse. Olli also holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Aalto University, where he also studied Computer Science.
“I would also like to mention that an aspect that drew me in at the very beginning was the founders at Vuono, who all have Futurice backgrounds. I had worked at Futurice in the past and I knew that the guys were very professional and nice. I knew that by joining Vuono I would be able to learn a lot about how to build and grow a company from the ground up. I saw joining Vuono as a place where I can truly learn and develop my skills with the freedom of taking as much responsibility as I feel comfortable with,” Olli adds.

Olli identifies himself as a full-blown tech nerd but he also has a lot of interests other than technology. He loves trying new things that he has no prior knowledge of and challenging himself to master new skills and subject matters constantly. For instance, Olli started crossfit last year and he also wants to learn how to play new instruments. When it comes to cinematography, Olli is a true movie buff. Inception is Olli’s favourite movie and that may be why he is such a good problem solver with the ability to think about solutions on multiple different levels.
